SEO Reporting Dashboard Guide

Accessing The Reporting Dashboard
When your campaign begins, we will email you a link to the Reporting Dashboard. This link can be used to access the Reporting Dashboard directly and can be freely shared, or we can create a username and password for added security.
SEO Dashboard Screen
After you login you will arrive at the main Dashboard Screen. This screen gives you an at-glance-view of the most important aspects of your campaign to help you understand quickly and succinctly how well you're doing overall.

- Return here from any other screen by clicking on the Dashboard button.
- The main body of the Dashboard consists of nine cells that lay out the following critical metrics and instructions:
- Top-Ranking Keyword: The keyword with the highest Google ranking in your campaign from the previous calendar week (Sun-Sat).
- Current Top Rank: The Google ranking of your "Top Ranking Keyword" in the previous calendar week (Sun-Sat).
- Keywords on the first page: The number of keywords in your campaign that have appeared on the rst page of Google in the previous calendar week (Sun-Sat).
- Average ranking for all keywords: We take the individual Google ranking of each keyword in your campaign over the previous calendar week (Sun-Sat) and average them together to see how your rankings are progressing.
- Online Presence: The on line visibility that comes about as we develop links for you. This grows when other websites mention you and link back to your site, creating buzz around your business that should boost your rankings.
- Traffic: The number of visits to your entire website over the last 12 months.
- Total Work Items Completed: The total number of work items completed since the beginning of your campaign. The higher this number gets, the more places customers can find you on line and the better you should rank.
- Total Work Completed: The totals in this graph are a reflection of your online presence. The more work we do and the higher these totals get, the more places customers can find you on line and the better you should rank.
- Required Client Actions: A list of critical items that need to be approved or completed for your campaign to continue progressing. It's critical to the success of your campaign that you act quickly on these items.
Keywords
This section of the Dashboard shows you everything you need to know about how your keywords are performing. You will see the complete history of each keyword in your campaign, including a screenshot of the date it reached page 1 of Google for the rst time.

- This screen can be accessed by clicking the Keywords tab in the dark grey navigation bar on the left of the screen.
- We track two types of keywords, Main and Halo.
- Main keywords are phrases we are actively optimizing on your website.
- Halo keywords are phrases we are not actively optimizing on your site, but that should experience ranking improvement as a result of the work we're doing on your Main keywords.
- For each keyword in your campaign we track its Start Date, Start Rank, Current Rank, Start Page and Current Page. Each column can be sorted according to the type of data it displays (date, rank, alphabetically, etc.)
- Click the blue View button to expand a chart that show the page ranking history of a keyword.
- Click this green button to view a screenshot of the first time a keyword reaches the first page of Google.
- All of the information displayed on this screen can be exported to a .csv file.
Work History
The Work History section of the Dashboard shows you a detailed breakdown of all the SEO work being performed as part of your campaign. You can easily see the quantity and type of work being done, as well as completion dates and the actual content of certain tasks.

- This screen can be accessed by clicking the Work History tab in the dark grey navigation bar on the left of the screen.
- Distribution of Work History by Category: All-time breakdown of work completed, organized by category.
- Categories of Work: The main categories that our SEO tasks fall into, as well as a brief description.
- Work Items Completed: A detailed list of work tickets we've completed for your campaign, including the date of completion and the work item completed. The current month of work is displayed by default, but you can select previous months or specific categories from the dropdown menus above.
- For certain types of work like blog and article publication, we provide a link to the site where the work was posted. You can also click on the Details button to see the content that was created.
Analytics
The Analytics screen gives you a detailed view of the organic traffic that has visited your site. You can view traffic overall, by city, by source, or by page on your site.

- This screen can be accessed by clicking the Analytics tab in the dark grey navigation bar on the left of the screen.
- You can select the date range of traffic you want to view. Simply choose a start and end date, and press the View button.
- Organic traffic: The number of organic visits to your website each day.
- Top Organic Traffic by City: Cities with the most organic visitors to your site.

- Top Organic Traffic Sources: Sources that drove the most organic visits to your website.
- Top Organic Traffic Pages: Pages on your website that received the greatest number of visitors from organic traffic.
Local Listings
The Local Listings screen is only available for clients who are optimizing their local pro le for local search results. The data on this screen will provide deep insights into your visibility at the local level.

- This screen can be accessed by clicking the Local Listings tab in the dark grey navigation bar on the left of the screen.
- Map: This is a snapshot of your online map data. If consumers map your business, this is what they'll find. You can also see how your business name and contact information appear on line in the top-left corner.
- These icons represent all the online business listings where your company is published. Many of these icons are clickable and will take you to either the live listing or a screenshot of the listing.
